These days, I find myself more and more thinking about the past. Many people say the past is the past, or the past doesn’t matter. However, lately my mind has been focused on the great memories of my youth. Times that felt so free and relaxing. Times without worry, regret, or knowledge about the real world.
Going Back In Time
I remember the beautiful flowers that my grandmother had all over her yard. Flowers like roses, marigolds, daisies, and azaleas brought a ton of beauty to the land where I laughed and played. I vividly remember the amount of antiques and old timey pots she held the flowers in, which added to that country feeling that I still cherish today. Those days still bring a smile
to my face. I can’t tell you the amount of people over the years that mentioned to me about similar experiences they had here in the south growing up. There is a true yearning for those days to return.
A New Direction
Feelings of nostalgia have the tendency to evoke positive emotions, and that is exactly what Vivid Earth Land Designs is aiming for with this new direction of our garden offerings. So what my son and I are doing now is bringing back the
authentic, real, old school, country garden experience to the people of South Carolina, built from the hands of someone who was born and raised into that way of life. We’re not out-of-towners trying to provide a hollow experience based off of what we’ve watched in the movies and on TV. These are lived experiences and memories forged into every project we take on. Our designs and overall feel are heavily inspired by the Southern country traditions of the past.
Whether you have ties to country living, or you’ve recently moved to the South, you will be able to have similar experiences that I had playing in my grandmother’s garden. Your kids will be able to swing on a tire swing as you pour them a fresh glass of lemonade. We can help you build that country garden so the rocking chair you have on your front porch won’t feel so
out of place. We can transform your yard into what you truly yearn for: Southern living. We are bringing back those slow, and simple spring and summer days that will always be a part of who you and I are.
These are very exciting times! If you want to transform your yard into an old school Southern masterpiece, reach out to Vivid Earth Land Designs today.
